output of valves in the country reached 4.534 million tons, and the total industrial output value of China's valve industry reached 211.649 billion yuan in 2012.

However, it should be noted that 16 billion yuan of these more than 30 billion yuan is contributed by foreign-funded enterprises, which manufacture products in China and then sell them back, accounting for more than half of China's total exports. At present, China's valve manufacturing industry has been able to provide about twelve categories, more than 3,000 models, more than 4,000 specifications of products for the user department, and its performance parameters range from vacuum valves to 600Mpa ultra-high pressure valves, and the temperature is from cryogenic 196 degrees Celsius to high temperature 570 degrees Celsius. Its main products have basically met the needs of the domestic market, and the complete set rate, complete set level and complete set capacity of the valve market have been greatly improved, and the domestic valve has a certain revitalization foundation.

Most of the valves used in China's nuclear power units now in operation are made in China. Long-distance pipeline high-pressure and large-diameter valves can all be supplied, and several domestic enterprises fully have the ability to supply the whole line. Many valves in petroleum refining can also be made in China.

However, cryogenic valves, especially LNG ball valves, are now weak in domestic supporting capacity. In all LNG projects of Sinopec Systems, gate valves, globe valves and check valves can be matched domestically in principle, but high-pressure ball valves, especially large-diameter high-pressure ball valves, still need to be imported.

Strive to make breakthroughs in the fields of 56" high-pressure ball valves for long-distance pipelines, high-temperature coke cleaning valves for large-scale cracking furnaces, LNG ultra-low temperature safety valves, and high-pressure valves for deep-sea oil and gas production. At the same time, it is necessary to adopt advanced international standards to improve the level of products.
